Community Monitoring Reports on Access to Health Services for Women and Girls in Ndroq and Pezë, Tirana Municipality

These reports present the findings of community monitoring activities conducted between December 2025 and February 2026 to assess women’s and girls’ access to and experiences with primary healthcare services, with a particular focus on the response to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) cases in the Administrative Units of Ndroq and Pezë, Tirana Municipality. The monitoring process explored barriers related to access, information, privacy, safety, and referral mechanisms, while capturing the perspectives and experiences of women and girls within their communities.
The reports were prepared by Nisma për Ndryshim Shoqëror ARSIS within the framework of the project “Tirana for Women: Equality, Protection and Empowerment”, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Gender Alliance for Development Center (GADC), in partnership with Together for Life (TFL) and the Institute of Romani Culture in Albania (IRCA).

The findings and recommendations aim to contribute to strengthening gender-responsive, accessible, and survivor-centred health services, while supporting local institutions and stakeholders in improving prevention, protection, and referral mechanisms for women and girls affected by gender-based violence.nia (IRCA).
