Strengthening the establishment and delivery of social care services to protect vulnerable children and communities at the Municipality of Korca and Durres 

Nisma për Ndryshim Shoqëror ARSIS, in partnership with the Municipalities of Durrës and Korçë, is implementing the project “Strengthening the Establishment and Delivery of Social Care Services to Protect Children and Vulnerable Communities.”

This initiative is part of the EU4SocialCare program, financed by the European Union and implemented by UNICEF Albania and World Vision Albania, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.

Key Activities:

  • Development of community-based, personalized, and multidisciplinary services

  • Support through family and child support centers

  • Prevention of family separation through technical intersectoral teams

  • Awareness activities on alternative parental care (foster care)

  • Training & certification of professionals offering specialized and alternative care

  • Strengthening parental capacities and family resilience

This project is a powerful step toward inclusive, accessible, and sustainable social services that prioritize the needs of children, youth, and families at risk.
