Safe Internet Box – For a Safer Cyberspace for Children and Youth!

The “Safe Internet Box” has completed its journey across four municipalities in Albania! Tirana, Durrës, Krujë, and Elbasan were its stops, where ARSIS Initiative engaged children and youth for over a year in educating them about cybersecurity and the necessary skills for careful internet use.
At this closing event, children shared their stories, ideas, and personal messages for a safer internet by presenting painted messages that cover every side of this box. These young cybersecurity ambassadors – their voices and creativity – mark the first step in raising awareness and protecting many others facing online abuse or trafficking.

The project “A Safer and More Resilient Cyberspace for Children and Youth” is supported by the national grant of the regional project “SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Values in the Western Balkans,” implemented by the Center for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD), the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM), and the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM Albania), with financial support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (NMFA).
